Ready Rabbit made his FIRST PUBLIC APPEARANCE at the State Department of Education's "Closing the Achievement Gaps" forum on November 20, 2004. The department unveiled its report on the importance of early childhood education to help bridge achievement gaps at the forum and a panel of distiguished leaders reflected on the report.

Ready Rabbit was photographed with many dignitaries, and everyone - from Lieutenant Governor M. Jodi Rell to brand new Commissioner Betty Sternberg to the guest speaker, David Lawrence - loved him!

Gov. Rell and David Lawrence's remarks are captured On the Record.
